Parish council meetings
The council says it meets on the first Monday of each month, except August, at 7pm at East Brent Village Hall. This makes Monday 2 November the next date under its usual schedule; agendas or last-minute alterations should be confirmed using its official 2026 meeting page. Minutes from 2026 are also published there.
School and preschool
East Brent C of E Academy publishes its school and preschool information, bulletins, diary and current vacancies. Its 2026–27 calendar page links to the Wessex Learning Trust term dates. Families should use the school’s own calendar for up-to-date dates rather than older third-party holiday listings.
A 28 September local job advertisement described a part-time teaching assistant vacancy at East Brent Academy (32.5 hours per week including midday supervision). This is a dated advertisement, not a guarantee the position remains open; contact the academy or check its current vacancies before applying.
Village Hall and community welfare
The Parish Council’s Village Hall page provides venue hire and leader contacts for local activities. The Village Agent helps residents who need advice or help connecting with local services. The council’s homepage includes links to defibrillator information, mobile-library routes, waste services and footpaths.
