What is on display?
The published event announcement describes local historical resources, audiovisual displays, maps, documents and recordings about the village’s wartime experience. Organisers are collecting further memories, stories and artefacts connected with the two wars.
Residents who may be able to contribute can contact Jan Bance on 07541 413970, as listed by the event organiser. Check the published listing for any updates before travelling.
The illustrated flyer thumbnail has been digitally recreated from the organisers’ supplied handout. It is a visual reproduction, not an original wartime document. The times and programme are transcribed in this article.
