LOCAL WILDLIFE · 10 OCTOBER 2026
Secret World Wildlife Rescue, based on New Road in East Huntspill, is inviting families to a free Helping Hedgehogs drop-in event on Wednesday 28 October 2026, from 10am to 2pm.
Visitors can discover how the charity treats and rehabilitates hedgehogs, see educational demonstrations and join craft activities inspired by autumn wildlife. There will also be an opportunity to make a hedgehog house. Some take-home kits and refreshments are chargeable, so free entry does not mean every activity or purchase is free.
The event is open to all ages and does not require advance booking. Because Secret World is a working wildlife hospital, the programme does not include direct handling of rescued animals.
