A370 at Bleadon: police seek witnesses to fatal collision

Police appeal issued 5 October 2026. Avon and Somerset Police are seeking witnesses or dashcam footage following a fatal single-motorcycle collision on the A370 at Bleadon on Sunday 4 October.

Officers were called at approximately 2pm. Police reported that the rider, a 53-year-old man, died at the scene and his family had been informed.

The A370 was closed between the Weston Hospital roundabout and the East Brent traffic-light junction, reopening at approximately 9.25pm that evening. These are historical closure details, not a current road-closure notice.
